Aloja 25mg Tablet 10's
Prescription drug
About: Aloja 25mg Tablet 10's is an oral antidiabetic medicine containing alogliptin, used in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone do not adequately control blood sugar.
Usage Instructions: Take the tablet once daily with or without food as directed by your doctor; swallow whole with water and take at the same time each day.
Benefits: Helps improve blood sugar control and may reduce the risk of diabetes-related complications when combined with lifestyle measures and other antidiabetic medicines if prescribed.
How it Works: Alogliptin inhibits the DPP-4 enzyme, increasing levels of incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP), which enhance insulin release and reduce glucagon secretion in a glucose-dependent manner.
Side Effects: Headache, upper respiratory infection, stomach discomfort, rash or joint pain may occur; rare but serious side effects include pancreatitis and severe allergic reactions and require immediate medical attention.
Safety Advice: Use only under medical supervision, especially in patients with kidney impairment, pancreatitis history or heart failure; avoid use in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis and follow the prescribed diet and exercise plan.
Storage: Store at room temperature below 25°C, protected from moisture and light; keep blister strips out of reach of children.
