About: Apexfer Tablet 10's is an iron and vitamin supplement used to prevent and treat iron deficiency anaemia, especially in pregnancy and women of childbearing age.
Usage Instructions: Take one tablet daily or as directed by the physician, preferably after meals to reduce stomach upset; swallow with water and do not exceed the recommended dose.
Benefits: Helps improve haemoglobin levels, correct iron deficiency, support red blood cell formation and reduce tiredness and weakness associated with anaemia.
How it Works: Ferric pyrophosphate provides iron for haemoglobin synthesis; vitamin C improves iron absorption, folic acid and vitamin B12 support red cell production, and glycine aids iron tolerance.
Side Effects: Nausea, dark stools, constipation or stomach discomfort may occur; very high doses can cause iron overload in susceptible individuals.
Safety Advice: Use under medical supervision in pregnancy, breastfeeding and chronic illnesses; keep out of reach of children as iron overdose can be dangerous.
Storage: Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from moisture and light; keep blister strips tightly closed.
