Aquatel CH 40mg Tablet 10's
Prescription drug
About: Aquatel CH 40 Tablet is an antihypertensive combination containing telmisartan and chlorthalidone, used for treatment of high blood pressure in adults not controlled on single‑drug therapy.
Usage Instructions: Take once daily with water, with or without food, at the same time each day or as prescribed; do not stop abruptly without medical advice.
Benefits: Helps lower blood pressure effectively by combining a renin–angiotensin system blocker with a thiazide‑like diuretic, reducing cardiovascular risk.
How it Works: Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II receptors, causing vasodilation and reduced aldosterone, while chlorthalidone increases excretion of sodium and water, lowering blood volume and peripheral resistance.
Side Effects: Dizziness, low blood pressure, increased urination, electrolyte imbalance (low potassium, sodium), fatigue or kidney function changes may occur.
Safety Advice: Use under medical supervision; caution in renal or hepatic impairment, electrolyte disturbances and pregnancy; regular monitoring of blood pressure, electrolytes and kidney function is advised.
Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place away from light and moisture; keep blister strips away from children.
