Prescription drug
Manufacturer / Marketer : ABBOTT SPLTY
About:
Atorfit CV 10mg Tablet 15s is a combination medicine used to lower high cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in patients with cardiovascular risk. It contains atorvastatin (a statin) and clopidogrel (an antiplatelet) to control blood lipids and prevent harmful blood clots.

Usage Instructions
Take the tablet once daily or as directed by your cardiologist, with or without food, and swallow it whole with water. Do not stop the medicine without medical advice, even if you feel well.

Benefits
Helps lower “bad” LDL cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing “good” HDL cholesterol. Reduces the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other cardiovascular events in high‑risk patients.

How it Works
Atorvastatin reduces cholesterol production in the liver by inhibiting HMG‑CoA reductase, improving the lipid profile. Clopidogrel prevents platelets from clumping together, thereby reducing the risk of clot formation in blood vessels.

Side Effects
Common side effects may include headache, indigestion, nausea, joint or muscle pain, or diarrhea. Seek immediate medical help if you experience severe muscle pain, unusual bleeding, or signs of an allergic reaction.

Safety Advice
Regular lipid profile and liver function monitoring is usually advised during treatment. Avoid excessive alcohol intake and inform your doctor about all other medicines, especially blood thinners or other statins.

Storage
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and do not use after the expiry date on the pack.
