AboutBEXOL Eye Drops contain Betaxolol 0.5%, a cardioselective beta-blocker for treating glaucoma and ocular hypertension by reducing intraocular pressure.Usage Instructions: Instill one drop in affected eye(s) twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart. Do not touch dropper tip to eye or any surface. Wait 5-15 minutes before using other eye drops.Benefits: Lowers intraocular pressure, treats glaucoma, prevents optic nerve damage, preserves vision, cardioselective with fewer systemic effects.How it Works: Betaxolol blocks beta-1 adrenergic receptors in ciliary body, reducing aqueous humor production and lowering intraocular pressure.Side Effects: Eye irritation, burning, blurred vision, dry eyes, headache, dizziness, bradycardia, hypotension (systemic absorption).Safety Advice: Remove contact lenses before use; wait 15 minutes before reinserting. Use caution in asthma, COPD, heart block, or bradycardia. May mask hypoglycemia symptoms in diabetics. Do not discontinue suddenly.Storage: Store below 25°C. Do not freeze. Keep bottle tightly closed. Protect from light. Discard 4 weeks after opening.
