AboutBistas Tablet contains Bisoprolol, a beta-1 selective blocker used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure), angina, and chronic heart failure.Usage Instructions: Take once daily at the same time, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Continue even if feeling well. Do not stop suddenly (risk of rebound hypertension/angina). Take consistently at the same time daily.Benefits: Effectively lowers high blood pressure, reduces risk of stroke and cardiovascular events, treats chronic stable angina (chest pain), manages chronic heart failure, reduces heart rate and myocardial oxygen demand, improves exercise tolerance, provides 24-hour control with once-daily dosing.How it Works: Bisoprolol selectively blocks beta-1 adrenergic receptors in the heart, reducing heart rate, contractility, and cardiac output. This lowers blood pressure and myocardial oxygen demand. Also inhibits renin release from kidneys. Cardioselective at lower doses.Side Effects: Common: fatigue, dizziness, headache, bradycardia (slow heart rate), cold extremities, diarrhea, nausea. Serious: severe bradycardia, heart block, worsening heart failure, bronchospasm (in asthmatics), hypotension, depression, masking of hypoglycemia symptoms in diabetics.Safety Advice: Contraindicated in severe bradycardia (<50 bpm), 2nd/3rd degree heart block, decompensated heart failure requiring IV inotropes, hypotension (SBP <100 mmHg), severe asthma/COPD, or sick sinus syndrome. Use caution in diabetes (may mask hypoglycemia symptoms), peripheral vascular disease, or thyroid disorders. Monitor heart rate and blood pressure. Do not discontinue abruptly (taper over 1-2 weeks). Inform doctor of dizziness, fainting, shortness of breath, or swelling.Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep in original packaging. Keep out of reach of children. Do not remove from blister until ready to use.
