About:
Cetmine 5mg Tablet contains Levocetirizine, a second-generation antihistamine for treating allergic conditions.
Usage Instructions:
Take one tablet once daily, preferably in evening. Swallow whole with water. Can be taken with or without food.
Benefits:
Relieves allergic rhinitis symptoms, treats chronic urticaria, reduces itching and hives, minimal sedation compared to first-generation antihistamines, once-daily dosing.
How it Works:
Selectively blocks peripheral H1 histamine receptors, preventing histamine-mediated allergic symptoms like itching, sneezing, and rhinorrhea.
Side Effects:
Drowsiness (less than cetirizine), dry mouth, fatigue, headache, dizziness, GI upset, rare: hypersensitivity reactions.
Safety Advice:
Use caution when driving initially. Dose adjustment in renal impairment. Avoid alcohol. Not for severe kidney disease. Use caution in epilepsy.
