Title
Clenoxa 60 PFS 0.6mg/1ml Injection
Prescription drug
About:
Clenoxa 60 PFS 0.6mg/1ml is a pre‑filled syringe anticoagulant injection used to prevent and treat blood clots such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism, and complications of unstable angina or heart attack. It contains enoxaparin, a low molecular weight heparin.
Usage Instructions
The injection is usually given subcutaneously (under the skin) in the abdominal area by a healthcare professional or trained patient. Do not rub the injection site and follow the exact dose and duration prescribed by your doctor.
Benefits
Helps prevent formation of new clots and stops existing clots from growing larger. Reduces the risk of serious complications such as pulmonary embolism or recurrent heart attacks.
How it Works
Enoxaparin inactivates clotting factors, particularly factor Xa and IIa, thereby reducing the blood’s ability to form clots. This anticoagulant effect maintains blood flow in veins and arteries at risk of blockage.
Side Effects
Common side effects include injection‑site bruising, mild bleeding, or pain. Serious bleeding, black stools, blood in urine, or signs of allergy require urgent medical attention.
Safety Advice
Use with caution in patients with kidney impairment, bleeding disorders, or those taking other blood thinners. Regular monitoring and dose adjustment may be needed in special populations such as elderly or low‑weight patients.
Storage
Store at room temperature away from direct heat and light, as per pack instructions. Keep out of reach of children and do not use if solution is discoloured or contains particles.
