AboutClindac A is a topical prescription acne gel containing Clindamycin 1% w/w. It is used for inflammatory acne and selected bacterial skin infections.Usage InstructionsClean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer as prescribed, usually once or twice daily. Avoid the eyes, lips, inside of the nose, broken skin and mucous membranes. Wash hands after application.BenefitsHelps reduce acne-causing bacteria, inflammatory pimples and associated redness.How it WorksClindamycin inhibits bacterial protein production, limiting the growth of susceptible bacteria.Side EffectsDryness, peeling, burning, redness, itching and irritation may occur. Stop use and seek medical advice for severe irritation or persistent watery or bloody diarrhoea.Safety AdvicePrescription use only. Avoid excessive sun exposure and irritating skin products unless advised. Use only on the affected skin and do not share the tube.
