About: Deribact Ointment contains Mupirocin 2%, a topical antibiotic for treating bacterial skin infections.Usage Instructions: Clean affected area. Apply thin layer 3 times daily for up to 10 days. Wash hands before and after application. May cover with gauze if needed.Benefits: Treats impetigo, infected wounds, folliculitis, furunculosis, effective against MRSA, prevents bacterial growth, promotes healing.How it Works: Mupirocin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to isoleucyl-tRNA synthetase, killing susceptible bacteria.Side Effects: Local burning, stinging, itching, pain, rare: allergic contact dermatitis, severe irritation requiring discontinuation.Safety Advice: For external use only.
