About: Dutexa Capsule contains Dutasteride 0.5mg, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and male pattern hair loss.Usage Instructions: Take one capsule daily with or without food. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew (teratogenic risk). Take consistently at same time.Benefits: Reduces prostate size in BPH, improves urinary symptoms, treats male pattern baldness, prevents hair loss progression, long-term benefits.How it Works: Inhibits both type I and II 5-alpha-reductase enzymes, blocking conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which causes prostate enlargement and hair loss.Side Effects: Decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, ejaculation disorders, breast tenderness/enlargement, depression, rare: high-grade prostate cancer, male breast cancer.Safety Advice: Contraindicated in women (especially pregnant) and children.
