About: Emlevo 500mg Tablet contains Levetiracetam 500mg, an antiepileptic drug for treating various types of seizures in epilepsy.Usage Instructions: Take as prescribed, usually twice daily. Swallow whole with water. Can be taken with or without food. Take at same times each day.Benefits: Controls partial-onset seizures, treats myoclonic seizures, manages primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures, can be used as monotherapy or add-on, well-tolerated.How it Works: Binds to synaptic vesicle protein SV2A, modulating neurotransmitter release, reducing neuronal hyperexcitability and seizure propagation.Side Effects: Drowsiness, dizziness, fatigue, headache, behavioral changes (irritability, aggression), coordination problems, rare: serious skin reactions, suicidal thoughts.Safety Advice: Do not stop abruptly (risk of seizures).
