AboutEmpaverse SM 10/100/1000 Tablet is a triple combination of Empagliflozin 10mg, Sitagliptin 100mg, and Metformin 1000mg used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus when dual therapy is inadequate.Usage Instructions: Take twice daily with meals, or as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew (extended release). Take consistently at the same time(s) daily with food to reduce GI upset. Individualize dose based on glycemic response and tolerability.Benefits: Provides comprehensive glycemic control with three complementary mechanisms, significantly lowers fasting and postprandial blood glucose, reduces HbA1c by 2-3%, promotes weight loss (empagliflozin), provides cardiovascular and renal protection, enhances glucose-dependent insulin secretion (sitagliptin), improves insulin sensitivity (metformin), reduces hepatic glucose production, delays diabetes complications. How it Works: Empagliflozin inhibits SGLT-2, promoting urinary glucose excretion. Sitagliptin inhibits DPP-4, increasing incretin hormones (GLP-1, GIP) which stimulate glucose-dependent insulin release and suppress glucagon. Metformin decreases hepatic glucose production and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity. Triple action targets renal, pancreatic, and hepatic pathways.Side Effects: Common: genital mycotic infections, urinary tract infections, increased urination, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, metallic taste, nasopharyngitis, headache. Serious: ketoacidosis (even with normal blood sugar), lactic acidosis (rare), severe dehydration, hypersensitivity reactions, pancreatitis, severe joint pain, acute kidney injury, vitamin B12 deficiency with long-term use.Safety Advice: Monitor blood glucose and kidney function regularly. Maintain adequate hydration. Recognize symptoms of ketoacidosis and lactic acidosis. Temporarily discontinue before surgery, prolonged fasting, or iodinated contrast procedures. Avoid excessive alcohol. Use caution in kidney disease. Not for type 1 diabetes or DKA. Inform doctor of genital infections, severe abdominal pain, unusual fatigue, or allergic reactions.Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep in original packaging. Keep out of reach of children.
