About: Emsita D 50/10 Tablet combines Sitagliptin 50mg and Dapagliflozin 10mg for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus.Usage Instructions: Take once daily at same time, with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Continue long-term as prescribed with diet and exercise.Benefits: Improves glycemic control, reduces HbA1c, dual mechanism action, promotes weight loss, cardiovascular benefits, once-daily dosing convenience.How it Works: Sitagliptin inhibits DPP-4 increasing incretin levels; Dapagliflozin inhibits SGLT2 increasing urinary glucose excretion - complementary mechanisms.Side Effects: Hypoglycemia (especially with other antidiabetics), genital mycotic infections, UTI, increased urination, headache, dizziness, rare: DKA, pancreatitis.Safety Advice: Monitor blood glucose regularly. Maintain hydration. Watch for signs of DKA. Use caution in kidney disease. Not for type 1 diabetes. Discontinue before surgery.Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place.
