AboutEPOFIT 6000 IU Injection contains Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Alfa (Epoetin Alfa) 6000 IU for treating anemia associated with chronic kidney disease and chemotherapy.Usage Instructions: Administered by healthcare professional via subcutaneous or intravenous injection. Dose individualized based on hemoglobin levels and response. Do not shake vial.Benefits: Stimulates red blood cell production, treats anemia, reduces need for blood transfusions, improves quality of life, increases hemoglobin levels.How it Works: Erythropoietin binds to receptors on bone marrow progenitor cells, stimulating proliferation and differentiation into mature red blood cells.Side Effects: Hypertension, headache, arthralgia, nausea, injection site reactions, thrombosis, pure red cell aplasia (rare), seizures.Safety Advice: Monitor hemoglobin and blood pressure regularly. Target Hb should not exceed 11 g/dL in CKD. Use caution in uncontrolled hypertension, history of seizures, or thrombosis. Ensure adequate iron stores. Store refrigerated.Storage: Store refrigerated between 2-8°C. Do not freeze or shake. Protect from light. Use immediately after opening.
