Eposis 10000 IU Injection 1ml

Prescription drug
Manufacturer / Marketer : MICRO CRITICAL CARE
About:
Eposis 10000 IU Injection 1ml is used to treat anaemia associated with chronic kidney disease, cancer chemotherapy, and certain HIV treatments. It contains erythropoietin 10000 IU, a recombinant hormone that stimulates red blood cell production.

Usage Instructions
The injection is given subcutaneously or intravenously by a doctor or trained nurse; do not self‑inject unless properly trained. Dose and frequency depend on body weight, haemoglobin levels, and underlying condition.

Benefits
Helps increase haemoglobin and red blood cell counts, reducing tiredness, weakness, and the need for blood transfusions. Improves quality of life in many patients with chronic anaemia when used appropriately.

How it Works
Erythropoietin stimulates the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells and corrects dysregulated erythropoiesis. This increases oxygen‑carrying capacity of the blood and improves symptoms of anaemia.

Side Effects
Possible side effects include high blood pressure, headache, injection‑site reactions, joint pain, or flu‑like symptoms. Rarely, serious issues such as blood clots or pure red cell aplasia can occur and require urgent medical attention.

Safety Advice
Blood pressure and haemoglobin should be monitored regularly, and dose adjusted to avoid excessively high levels. Use with caution in patients with uncontrolled hypertension or history of thrombosis.

Storage
Store in a refrigerator at 2–8°C; do not freeze. Keep the pre‑filled syringe in its carton to protect from light and use at room temperature immediately after removal from the fridge.
