AboutExervit Tablet contains Folic Acid (Vitamin B9) for treating folate deficiency, preventing neural tube defects, and supporting red blood cell formation.Usage Instructions: Take one tablet daily with water. Can be taken with or without food. Continue as prescribed, especially important during pregnancy.Benefits: Prevents neural tube defects, treats folate deficiency anemia, supports DNA synthesis, aids red blood cell formation, reduces homocysteine levels.How it Works: Folic acid is converted to tetrahydrofolate, essential for DNA synthesis, amino acid metabolism, and red blood cell maturation.Side Effects: Generally well tolerated. Rare: allergic reactions, GI upset, masking of vitamin B12 deficiency with long-term high doses.Safety Advice: Safe in pregnancy (recommended).
