AboutFenatonm P Tablet is a combination of Fenofibrate and Atorvastatin used to treat high cholesterol, high triglycerides, and reduce cardiovascular risk in patients with mixed dyslipidemia and hypertriglyceridemia.Usage Instructions: Take once daily with the main meal, or as directed by your physician. Swallow whole with water. Do not crush or chew. Take at the same time each day. Continue with prescribed diet, exercise, and weight management program.Benefits: Effectively lowers total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and Apo B. Raises HDL cholesterol. Treats mixed dyslipidemia, severe hypertriglyceridemia, and combined hyperlipidemia. Reduces risk of cardiovascular events, heart attack, stroke, and peripheral artery disease. Particularly beneficial in type 2 diabetes with dyslipidemia.How it Works: Atorvastatin competitively inhibits HMG-CoA reductase (rate-limiting step in cholesterol synthesis), upregulating LDL receptors and clearing LDL from blood. Fenofibrate activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPAR-α), enhancing lipolysis, reducing triglyceride synthesis, and increasing HDL apolipoprotein production.Side Effects: Common: myalgia, arthralgia, back pain, headache, nausea, diarrhea, dyspepsia, elevated transaminases, increased creatine kinase. Serious: rhabdomyolysis with acute renal failure, hepatotoxicity, acute pancreatitis, cholelithiasis, interstitial lung disease, severe hypersensitivity reactions, new-onset or worsening diabetes.Safety Advice: Baseline and periodic monitoring of liver enzymes, lipid profile, and CK required. Discontinue if CK >10× ULN or if myopathy suspected. Avoid concomitant use with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, cyclosporine, or gemfibrozil. Limit alcohol. Contraindicated in pregnancy, lactation, active liver disease, or severe renal impairment. Report unexplained muscle pain, weakness, dark urine, jaundice, or severe abdominal pain immediately.Storage: Store below 25°C in original packaging. Protect from light, heat, and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if packaging is damaged.
