About: Galvus DM 1000mg Tablet combines Vildagliptin and Metformin for treating type 2 diabetes mellitus when dual therapy is needed.Usage Instructions: Take twice daily with meals to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Swallow whole with water. Do not skip meals to avoid hypoglycemia.Benefits: Improves glycemic control, reduces HbA1c, enhances insulin secretion, decreases hepatic glucose production, aids weight management.How it Works: Vildagliptin inhibits DPP-4 enzyme increasing incretin levels; Metformin reduces hepatic glucose output and improves insulin sensitivity.Side Effects: Nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, metallic taste, headache, dizziness, hypoglycemia (when combined with other antidiabetics).Safety Advice: Monitor kidney function before and during treatment.
