AboutGemiclop ASP 75/150 Tablet is a combination of Clopidogrel 75mg and Aspirin 150mg used to prevent blood clots and reduce cardiovascular events in high-risk patients with coronary artery disease, recent heart attack, or stroke.Usage Instructions: Take once daily at the same time, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Take with food to reduce stomach upset. Continue even if feeling well. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice (increased clot risk). Take consistently at the same time daily.Benefits: Provides dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT), prevents blood clot formation more effectively than single agent, reduces risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death, prevents stent thrombosis after coronary stenting (especially drug-eluting stents), manages acute coronary syndrome, treats peripheral arterial disease, reduces need for multiple pills and improves compliance.How it Works: Clopidogrel irreversibly blocks P2Y12 ADP receptors on platelets, inhibiting platelet activation and aggregation. Aspirin irreversibly acetylates COX-1 in platelets, blocking thromboxane A2 synthesis and preventing platelet aggregation. Dual inhibition of different platelet activation pathways provides synergistic antithrombotic effect.Side Effects: Common: bleeding (nosebleeds, gum bleeding, easy bruising), headache, dizziness, nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, diarrhea, rash. Serious: major bleeding (GI, intracranial, retroperitoneal), stomach ulcers/bleeding, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), severe neutropenia, severe allergic reactions, liver dysfunction, bronchospasm in aspirin-sensitive asthmatics.Safety Advice: Significantly increased bleeding risk; avoid high-risk activities and contact sports. Inform all healthcare providers and dentists you are on dual antiplatelet therapy. Do not discontinue abruptly (especially within first year after stenting; increased stent thrombosis risk). Use gastroprotection (PPI) if high GI bleeding risk. Avoid concomitant NSAIDs. Use caution in bleeding disorders, peptic ulcer history, or liver disease. Avoid omeprazole/esomeprazole (reduces clopidogrel efficacy). Report unusual bleeding, black stools, severe腹痛, vomiting blood, severe headache, or weakness immediately.
