AboutGemiclop CV 20 Tablet is a combination of Clopidogrel 75mg, Aspirin 75mg, and Rosuvastatin 20mg used to prevent heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular events in very high-risk patients with established cardiovascular disease and high cholesterol.Usage Instructions: Take once daily at the same time, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not crush, chew, or open. Take with food to reduce stomach upset. Continue even if feeling well. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice. Take consistently at the same time daily. Avoid grapefruit juice.Benefits: Provides intensive cardiovascular protection with triple therapy, prevents arterial thrombosis (dual antiplatelet), provides intensive cholesterol lowering (rosuvastatin 20mg lowers LDL by 45-55%), significantly reduces risk of cardiovascular death, non-fatal MI, and stroke, prevents stent thrombosis after PCI, manages acute coronary syndrome, stabilizes and regresses atherosclerotic plaques, reduces need for multiple pills and improves long-term compliance, particularly beneficial in very high-risk patients (diabetes, prior events, multivessel disease). How it Works: Clopidogrel irreversibly antagonizes P2Y12 ADP receptors on platelets, inhibiting activation and aggregation for platelet lifespan. Aspirin irreversibly acetylates COX-1, blocking thromboxane A2 synthesis and preventing platelet aggregation. Dual antiplatelet therapy provides comprehensive platelet inhibition. Rosuvastatin potently inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, markedly reducing hepatic cholesterol synthesis and upregulating LDL receptor expression, lowering LDL-C by 45-55%. Also has pleiotropic effects: plaque stabilization, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, improved endothelial function, reduced thrombogenicity. Combined action addresses both thrombotic and lipid pathways in atherothrombosis.Side Effects: Common: bleeding manifestations (minor: epistaxis, gingival bleeding, easy bruising; major: GI bleeding, hematuria), dyspepsia, nausea, abdominal pain, myalgia, arthralgia, back pain, headache, dizziness, diarrhea, constipation, rash, pruritus. Serious: major bleeding (intracranial hemorrhage, GI bleeding, retroperitoneal bleeding), peptic ulcer disease with bleeding/perforation, rhabdomyolysis with acute renal failure, hepatotoxicity, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), severe neutropenia/agranulocytosis, severe hypersensitivity reactions (anaphylaxis, angioedema, SJS/TEN), bronchospasm in aspirin-sensitive asthmatics, new-onset or worsening diabetes, interstitial lung disease.Safety Advice: Significantly increased bleeding risk; avoid high-risk activities, contact sports, and unnecessary invasive procedures. Inform all healthcare providers, dentists, and surgeons you are on this medication. Do not discontinue abruptly without cardiologist approval (especially within first 6-12 months after drug-eluting stent; catastrophic stent thrombosis risk). Baseline and periodic monitoring of liver enzymes, lipid profile, and CK required. Discontinue if CK >10× ULN or if myopathy suspected. Report unexplained muscle pain, weakness, dark urine, jaundice, unusual bleeding, black stools, severe腹痛, or allergic reactions immediately. Avoid concomitant use of strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, cyclosporine, or gemfibrozil. Limit alcohol. Avoid grapefruit juice (increases rosuvastatin levels). Consider gastroprotection with PPI (preferably pantoprazole) if high GI bleeding risk. Avoid concomitant NSAIDs, other antiplatelets, or anticoagulants unless essential. Avoid omeprazole and esomeprazole (reduce clopidogrel efficacy). Contraindicated in active bleeding, severe hepatic impairment, pregnancy, or lactation.Storage: Store below 25°C in original packaging. Protect from light, heat, and moisture. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if packaging is damaged or tablets are discolored.
