AboutGliptaking 100mg Tablet contains Sitagliptin, a DPP-4 inhibitor used to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Usage Instructions: Take once daily with or without food. Swallow whole with water. Can be taken at any time of day but maintain consistent timing. Continue with diet and exercise.Benefits: Improves blood sugar control, reduces HbA1c levels, low risk of hypoglycemia, weight neutral, convenient once-daily dosing, preserves beta-cell function.How it Works: Sitagliptin inhibits DPP-4 enzyme, increasing incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP) which stimulate insulin release and suppress glucagon secretion in glucose-dependent manner.Side Effects: Upper respiratory tract infection, headache, nasopharyngitis, hypoglycemia (with other antidiabetics), rare: pancreatitis, severe joint pain.Safety Advice: Monitor blood sugar regularly.
