About
Glyree M2 Tablet 10's contains Glimepiride 2mg + Metformin 500mg (SR). This is an oral anti-diabetic combination used with diet and exercise to control blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. This is a prescription medicine; use only under the guidance of a registered medical practitioner.

Usage Instructions
Take one tablet once or twice daily with or just after meals, as prescribed. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew extended-release tablets.

Benefits
Lowers fasting and after-meal blood sugar and improves HbA1c control with fewer tablets.

How it Works
Glimepiride stimulates the pancreas to release insulin, metformin reduces liver sugar production and improves insulin sensitivity, and voglibose (where present) slows carbohydrate absorption from the gut.

Side Effects
Common: low blood sugar, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach upset, metallic taste, weight gain. Rare: lactic acidosis.

Safety Advice
Do not skip meals. Know the signs of low blood sugar and keep sugar handy. Limit alcohol. Avoid in severe kidney or liver disease. Stop before contrast imaging or surgery as advised. Monitor blood sugar regularly.

Storage
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
