About: GMine M2 Tablet is an oral antidiabetic medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus when diet and exercise alone are not enough to control blood sugar levels. It combines glimepiride and metformin to provide better glycaemic control in adults.
Usage Instructions: Take the tablet with food, usually once or twice daily or as directed by the physician; do not crush or chew.
Benefits: Helps lower fasting and post‑meal blood glucose, reduces risk of diabetes complications, and can be used along with lifestyle measures.
How it Works: Glimepiride (a sulfonylurea) increases insulin release from the pancreas, while metformin decreases hepatic glucose production and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity.
Side Effects: Common side effects may include nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea, headache, metallic taste, and episodes of low blood sugar (hypoglycaemia).
Safety Advice: Use with caution in kidney, liver, or heart disease and in the elderly; avoid alcohol and monitor blood sugar regularly; not recommended in type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
Storage: Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight; keep out of reach of children.
