Gosita D M Tablet 10's
Prescription drug
About: Gosita DM Tablet is a combination antidiabetic, typically containing a DPP‑4 inhibitor (Gosita) together with metformin for treatment of type 2 diabetes; strength is lower than “Forte”.
Usage Instructions: Take with food, once or twice daily as directed by the physician.
Benefits: Provides synergistic glucose lowering via incretin pathway and insulin‑sensitising action, improving fasting and post‑prandial sugar.
How it Works: DPP‑4 inhibitor increases incretin levels to enhance glucose‑dependent insulin release; metformin reduces hepatic glucose output and improves peripheral utilisation.
Side Effects: GI intolerance (nausea, diarrhea), headache, nasopharyngitis and rare hypoglycaemia, especially if combined with sulfonylureas.
Safety Advice: Assess renal function before and during therapy; avoid in severe renal or hepatic impairment; continue diet and exercise measures.
Storage: Store below 30°C, protected from moisture and light.
