AboutHumirose 5MG Tablet contains Rosuvastatin 5mg, a statin used to lower cholesterol, reduce cardiovascular risk, and prevent heart attack and stroke in high-risk patients.Usage Instructions: Take once daily at the same time, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Continue even if feeling well. Take consistently at the same time daily. Avoid grapefruit juice.Benefits: Lowers LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) by 30-40%, lowers triglycerides, raises HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol), reduces risk of heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular death, stabilizes atherosclerotic plaques, slows progression of atherosclerosis, provides anti-inflammatory and endothelial benefits.How it Works: Rosuvastatin competitively inhibits HMG-CoA reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol synthesis. Serious: rhabdomyolysis (severe muscle breakdown), liver damage, increased blood sugar/diabetes onset, severe allergic reactions, memory loss/confusion (rare).Safety Advice: Monitor liver enzymes and CK regularly. Report unexplained muscle pain, weakness, dark urine, or yellowing of eyes immediately. Avoid grapefruit juice (increases drug levels).
