AboutJupiros A 20/75 combines Rosuvastatin and low-dose Aspirin. It is prescribed for selected patients at risk of heart attack, stroke or other atherosclerotic cardiovascular events.Usage InstructionsTake exactly as prescribed, preferably after food if advised. Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not stop Aspirin or the statin without consulting the doctor.BenefitsRosuvastatin lowers harmful cholesterol, while Aspirin reduces platelet aggregation and helps reduce clot formation in appropriate patients.How it WorksRosuvastatin inhibits cholesterol synthesis in the liver. Aspirin irreversibly inhibits platelet cyclooxygenase, reducing thromboxane-mediated platelet aggregation.Side EffectsIndigestion, nausea, abdominal discomfort, bruising, bleeding, headache, muscle pain or weakness may occur.
