AboutLAFORMIN G 2mg Tablet is a combination of Glimepiride 2mg and Metformin 500mg for treating Type 2 diabetes mellitus.Usage Instructions: Take with meals as prescribed, usually once or twice daily. Swallow whole with water. Do not skip meals to avoid hypoglycemia.Benefits: Effective blood sugar control, reduces HbA1c, prevents diabetes complications, dual mechanism action, improves insulin sensitivity.How it Works: Glimepiride stimulates pancreatic insulin secretion; Metformin reduces hepatic glucose production and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity.Side Effects: Hypoglycemia, gastrointestinal upset, nausea, diarrhea, metallic taste, weight gain, vitamin B12 deficiency (long-term).Safety Advice: Take with food to minimize gastric irritation.
