AboutLanfree DT 15 mg Tablet contains lansoprazole (15 mg), a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux, peptic ulcers (gastric and duodenal), erosive esophagitis, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.Usage InstructionsTake exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily in the morning before breakfast. Swallow tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew. Take on empty stomach for best results. DT (dispersible) tablets can be dissolved in water if swallowing is difficult.Benefits- Effectively reduces stomach acid production- Relieves heartburn, acid reflux, and GERD symptoms- Promotes healing of esophagitis and peptic ulcers- Prevents ulcer recurrence- Treats excessive acid production conditions- Once-daily dosing convenienceHow it WorksLansoprazole irreversibly blocks H+/K+ ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in stomach lining parietal cells, reducing acid secretion and allowing healing of acid-damaged tissues.Side EffectsCommon: Headache, diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, constipation.
