AboutLevetas SR 1GM Tablet contains Levetiracetam, an anti-epileptic medicine used to treat seizures (fits) in epilepsy.Usage Instructions: Take exactly as prescribed, usually twice daily. Swallow sustained-release tablet whole; do not crush or chew. Take with or without food.Benefits: Controls and prevents epileptic seizures, reduces seizure frequency and severity, improves quality of life in epilepsy patients.How it Works: Levetiracetam binds to synaptic vesicle protein SV2A in the brain, modulating neurotransmitter release and stabilizing abnormal electrical activity that causes seizures.Side Effects: Common: drowsiness, dizziness, headache, fatigue, irritability. Serious: mood changes, depression, suicidal thoughts, severe skin reactions.Safety Advice: Do not stop suddenly. Avoid alcohol. Use caution when driving. Monitor for mood changes.
