AboutLifenepa Eye Drops contains Nepafenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for treating post-operative eye pain and inflammation after cataract surgery.Usage Instructions: Instill one drop in affected eye(s) as directed, usually 3 times daily. Shake well before use. Wait 10 minutes between different eye medications. Do not touch dropper to eye.Benefits: Reduces post-surgical eye pain, decreases inflammation, prevents prostaglandin-mediated pain, convenient topical application, effective after cataract surgery.How it Works: Nepafenac is a prodrug NSAID that inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes, blocking prostaglandin synthesis responsible for pain, redness, and inflammation.Side Effects: Eye irritation, blurred vision, foreign body sensation, increased intraocular pressure, rare: corneal melting, allergic reactions.Safety Advice: Use only after cataract surgery as prescribed. Avoid if allergic to NSAIDs. Do not use with contact lenses. Report severe eye pain or vision changes immediately.Storage: Store below 30°C. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
