AboutLobevers 0.5 Tablet contains Everolimus 0.5mg, an mTOR inhibitor used as an immunosuppressant in organ transplantation and to treat certain cancers and tuberous sclerosis complex.Usage Instructions: Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Take consistently at the same time(s) daily, either always with food or always without food. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice. Regular monitoring of drug levels required.Benefits: Prevents organ rejection in kidney, liver, or heart transplant recipients, treats certain cancers (renal cell carcinoma, breast cancer, neuroendocrine tumors), manages tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), prevents restenosis in coronary stents, provides immunosuppression and antiproliferative effects.How it Works: Everolimus inhibits mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), a key regulator of cell growth, proliferation, and survival. In transplantation, it inhibits T-cell activation and proliferation, preventing immune-mediated organ rejection. In cancer, it inhibits tumor cell proliferation and angiogenesis. In TSC, it reduces tumor growth.Side Effects: Common: mouth sores/stomatitis, infections (respiratory, urinary), diarrhea, nausea, fatigue, rash, edema, increased cholesterol/triglycerides, anemia, decreased platelets. Serious: severe infections (opportunistic), lung toxicity (interstitial lung disease), kidney impairment, impaired wound healing, increased risk of malignancy, severe allergic reactions.Safety Advice: Increased infection risk; avoid live vaccines and sick contacts. Monitor drug levels, kidney function, lipids, and blood counts regularly. Use effective contraception (teratogenic). Avoid grapefruit juice (increases drug levels). Inform doctor of fever, cough, shortness of breath, mouth sores, or unusual bleeding. Do not use in pregnancy or breastfeeding.
