AboutMoxam D is a prescription ophthalmic combination containing Moxifloxacin and Dexamethasone. It is used for selected bacterial eye infections with associated inflammation when prescribed after an eye examination.Usage InstructionsShake if the label instructs, wash hands and instil the prescribed number of drops. Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or any surface. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that suppresses inflammatory mediator activity.Side EffectsTemporary stinging, blurred vision, irritation, increased tearing or altered taste may occur. Prolonged steroid use can raise eye pressure, delay healing or worsen undiagnosed infections.Safety AdvicePrescription use only. Do not use for unexplained red eye or viral or fungal infection without ophthalmic evaluation. Avoid contact lenses unless specifically permitted.
