AboutNDS Nflox TZ Tablet contains norfloxacin and tinidazole. It is prescribed for selected bacterial and protozoal gastrointestinal infections such as diarrhoea and dysentery.Usage InstructionsTake by mouth exactly as prescribed, preferably with water. Complete the full course. Avoid alcohol during treatment and for the period advised by the doctor after the last dose.BenefitsMay help treat susceptible bacterial or protozoal infections affecting the intestine.How it WorksNorfloxacin inhibits bacterial enzymes needed for DNA replication. Tinidazole damages the DNA of susceptible anaerobic organisms and parasites.Side EffectsNausea, metallic taste, stomach discomfort, headache, dizziness or diarrhoea may occur. Seek urgent care for tendon pain, numbness, severe rash, seizures or breathing difficulty.Safety AdvicePrescription medicine. Do not self-medicate for diarrhoea.
