About:
Nebzmart GFB Smartule is a pack of sterile inhalation ampoules designed for use with nebulisers to deliver respiratory medication directly into the lungs. The GFB variant generally indicates a specific bronchodilator or mucolytic formulation used in obstructive airway diseases such as asthma or COPD, as prescribed by a pulmonologist.
Usage Instructions Twist open one ampoule, pour the contents into the nebuliser chamber, and use as directed by your doctor or respiratory therapist. Inhale the mist through a mouthpiece or mask until the chamber is empty, and clean the nebuliser components after each use as per instructions.
Benefits Provides targeted delivery of medication to the airways, enabling rapid onset of action and relief of breathing difficulty, wheeze or chest tightness. Suitable for patients who have difficulty coordinating inhaler use, including children and elderly, when supervised.
How it Works The active bronchodilator and/or mucolytic in the solution acts locally in the bronchial tree to relax airway muscles or thin mucus, improving airflow and secretion clearance. Nebulisation converts the solution into a fine mist, enhancing deep lung deposition.
Side Effects Possible side effects depend on the active medicine and may include tremor, palpitations, throat irritation, cough or nervousness. Seek medical help if you experience severe chest pain, rapid heartbeat, paradoxical bronchospasm (worsening breathing) or allergic reactions.
Safety Advice Use only the dose and frequency prescribed and do not mix with other solutions unless instructed. Not intended for emergency relief in acute severe attacks unless part of an instructed action plan; patients should also have a rescue inhaler if indicated.
Storage Store ampoules in their foil pouch at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Use immediately after opening and discard any unused solution; keep out of reach of children.
