AboutNikoverse 10 Tablet contains Nicorandil 10mg, a potassium channel activator used to treat chronic stable angina (chest pain) and prevent angina attacks.Usage Instructions: Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually 2-3 times daily. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. May be taken with or without food. Take consistently at the same time(s) daily. Continue even if feeling well. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.Benefits: Prevents and treats angina attacks (chest pain), improves exercise tolerance, reduces frequency of angina episodes, improves blood flow to heart muscle, provides dual mechanism (nitrate + potassium channel activation), suitable for patients who cannot tolerate beta-blockers or calcium channel blockers.How it Works: Nicorandil has dual mechanism: nitrate component causes venodilation, reducing preload and myocardial oxygen demand. Potassium channel activation causes arterial vasodilation, reducing afterload and improving coronary blood flow. Together they improve myocardial oxygen supply-demand balance and prevent angina.Side Effects: Common: headache, flushing, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, weakness, palpitations. Serious: severe hypotension, mouth ulcers/stomatitis (can be severe), gastrointestinal ulcers/bleeding, severe allergic reactions, muscle pain.Safety Advice: May cause severe mouth or gastrointestinal ulcers; report mouth sores, black stools, or severe abdominal pain immediately. Use caution in low blood pressure, recent heart attack, or heart failure. Avoid alcohol (increases hypotension risk). Do not use with sildenafil/tadalafil (severe hypotension). Inform doctor of headache, dizziness, or ulcers. Do not discontinue suddenly (rebound angina).Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep in original packaging.
