AboutNormocret M Tablet contains sitagliptin and metformin, a combination oral antidiabetic medication used with diet and exercise to improve blood glucose control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Usage InstructionsTake exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once or twice daily with meals to reduce stomach upset. Swallow whole with water. Do not stop or change dose without consulting your doctor. Serious: Lactic acidosis (rare but serious, from metformin), pancreatitis, severe joint pain, kidney problems.Safety Advice- Prescription required - use only as directed- Inform doctor of kidney disease, liver disease, heart failure, or history of pancreatitis- Avoid excessive alcohol intake (increases lactic acidosis risk)- May need to temporarily discontinue before surgery or contrast imaging procedures- Monitor kidney function periodically- Seek immediate medical attention for symptoms of lactic acidosis (muscle pain, weakness, trouble breathing, stomach pain, dizziness, slow heartbeat)- Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosisStorageStore below 25°C in a dry place protected from light and moisture.
