Novofine 32G 4 mm Pen Needles

Novofine 32G 4 mm Pen Needles

Manufacturer / Marketer : NOVO NORDISK.
About: Novofine 32G 4 mm are ultra‑thin, short single‑use pen needles designed for comfortable subcutaneous insulin delivery with compatible insulin pens. They are suitable for most adults and many children, helping to minimise injection pain and reduce the risk of intramuscular injections.
Usage Instructions Attach a new needle firmly to the insulin pen, remove both caps, prime as per pen instructions and inject at the angle recommended by the healthcare provider. Discard the needle safely after a single use in a sharps container and do not share needles between patients.
Benefits The 32G fine gauge and 4 mm length improve comfort and support more consistent insulin absorption. Short needles can usually be used at 90° without skin pinch in many patients, simplifying technique when properly trained.
How it Works The needle provides a narrow bore and short penetration depth, designed to reach the subcutaneous tissue while limiting trauma to deeper tissues. A silicone coating and precision tip help the needle glide smoothly through the skin during injection.
Side Effects May cause minor bruising, redness or transient pain at injection sites. Rarely, local infection or lipodystrophy can occur if injection hygiene and site rotation are inadequate.
Safety Advice Use a new sterile needle for each injection and rotate injection sites to avoid lumps and skin changes. Patients with visual or dexterity issues should be reviewed periodically to ensure correct technique and safe disposal practices.
Storage Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep needles in original packaging and out of reach of children.
