AboutPantied DSR Tablet is a combination of Pantoprazole 40mg (proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone 30mg (prokinetic) used to treat GERD, acid reflux, gastritis, and indigestion with nausea and vomiting.Usage Instructions: Take once daily on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before a meal (preferably breakfast). Swallow capsule whole with water; do not crush, chew, or open. Take at the same time daily. Complete prescribed course.Benefits: Effectively treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, gastritis, peptic ulcers, and functional dyspepsia. Reduces heartburn, acid regurgitation, bloating, nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain. Promotes gastric emptying and enhances acid suppression.How it Works: Pantoprazole irreversibly inhibits H+/K+ ATPase (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, profoundly suppressing gastric acid secretion. Domperidone blocks dopamine D2 receptors in GI tract and chemoreceptor trigger zone, enhancing gastric motility, accelerating gastric emptying, and reducing nausea/vomiting.Side Effects: Common: headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dry mouth, dizziness, flatulence, nausea. Serious: QT prolongation, arrhythmias, hyperprolactinemia (galactorrhea, gynecomastia), vitamin B12/magnesium deficiency with long-term use, liver dysfunction, severe skin reactions.Safety Advice: Contraindicated in GI bleeding, obstruction, or perforation. Use caution in liver disease, heart conditions, or electrolyte imbalance. Avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding. Monitor for signs of QT prolongation. Long-term use may increase fracture risk and cause nutrient deficiencies. Inform doctor of irregular heartbeat, breast changes, or severe diarrhea.Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place.
