AboutPanvus 40 Tablet contains Pantoprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine.Usage Instructions: Take once daily, 1 hour before a meal, usually in the morning. Swallow whole with water. Do not crush or chew.Benefits: Treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcers, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and prevents ulcers from NSAID use.How it Works: Pantoprazole blocks the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in stomach lining, reducing acid production and allowing healing of acid-related damage.Side Effects: Common: headache, diarrhea, nausea, stomach pain, vomiting, gas. Serious: low magnesium, vitamin B12 deficiency, bone fractures, kidney problems, severe skin reactions.Safety Advice: Long-term use may increase fracture risk. Monitor magnesium and B12 levels. Inform doctor of liver disease. Do not stop suddenly if used long-term. Take other medicines 2 hours apart.Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep in original blister pack.
