AboutPID Plus Capsule contains pantoprazole (40 mg) and domperidone (10 mg), a combination medication used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acid reflux, heartburn, peptic ulcers, and symptoms of nausea and vomiting associated with acid-related disorders.Usage InstructionsTake exactly as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily in the morning before breakfast. Swallow capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew. Take on empty stomach for best results. Serious: QT prolongation (heart rhythm abnormality, from domperidone), increased risk of bone fractures with long-term PPI use, vitamin B12 deficiency, kidney problems, low magnesium levels.Safety Advice- Prescription required - use lowest effective dose for shortest duration- Inform doctor of heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, or electrolyte imbalances- Many drug interactions (CYP2C19 substrates, QT-prolonging drugs, digoxin)- Long-term use may increase risk of fractures, infections, and nutrient deficiencies- Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding without doctor's advice- Avoid alcohol during treatment- Report irregular heartbeat, severe diarrhoea, or signs of low magnesium (muscle cramps, irregular heartbeat, seizures)StorageStore below 25°C in a dry place protected from light and moisture.
