About: Poviztra FLXT 0.5mg contains Semaglutide 0.5mg, a GLP-1 receptor agonist for weight management and diabetes in once-weekly injection.Usage Instructions: Inject subcutaneously once weekly on same day. Rotate injection sites. Titrate from 0.25mg after 4 weeks. Can be taken with or without food.Benefits: Effective weight loss, improves HbA1c, reduces cardiovascular risk, once-weekly dosing, preserves beta-cell function, low hypoglycemia risk.How it Works: Activates GLP-1 receptors, stimulating insulin release in glucose-dependent manner, inhibiting glucagon secretion, delaying gastric emptying, promoting satiety.Side Effects: Nausea (most common), vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, dyspepsia, fatigue, injection site reactions. Rare: pancreatitis, acute gallbladder disease.Safety Advice: Contraindicated in thyroid C-cell tumors. Monitor renal function in severe GI reactions. Not recommended in severe gastroparesis. Discontinue if pancreatitis suspected.Storage: Store in refrigerator at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. After first use, store below 30°C for maximum 6 weeks. Keep pen cap on when not in use.
