AboutPP Troy Tablet is a combination pain reliever containing Paracetamol and Tramadol used to relieve moderate to moderately severe pain when non-opioid analgesics alone are inadequate.Usage Instructions: Take one tablet every 6 hours as needed for pain, or as directed by your doctor. Swallow whole with water; do not crush, chew, or split. May be taken with or without food. Do not exceed 4 tablets in 24 hours. Use lowest effective dose for shortest duration. Complete prescribed course.Benefits: Relieves moderate to moderately severe pain including postoperative pain, musculoskeletal pain, back pain, dental pain, cancer pain, and chronic pain conditions. Provides dual mechanism (opioid + non-opioid) for enhanced pain relief with lower opioid dose. Faster onset and better tolerability than tramadol alone. How it Works: Tramadol is a weak mu-opioid receptor agonist and inhibits reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, enhancing descending inhibitory pain pathways. Paracetamol inhibits COX enzymes in CNS, reducing prostaglandin synthesis and pain perception. Together they provide synergistic analgesia through complementary mechanisms.Side Effects: Common: nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, constipation, dry mouth, fatigue, sweating, confusion. Serious: respiratory depression (rare at this dose), seizures, serotonin syndrome, dependence/withdrawal with prolonged use, liver toxicity (with overdose), severe allergic reactions, anaphylaxis.Safety Advice: Risk of dependence with prolonged use; use only as prescribed. Avoid alcohol and CNS depressants. Do not drive or operate machinery initially. Contraindicated in severe respiratory depression, acute intoxication with alcohol/drugs, or MAOI use. Use caution in elderly, kidney/liver disease, or seizure disorders. Do not exceed recommended dose (liver failure risk). Inform doctor of difficulty breathing, confusion, severe dizziness, or rash.Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Keep in original packaging. Keep out of reach of children. This is a controlled substance; store securely.
