Title
RabEcheck D 10 Tablets
Prescription drug
About: RabEcheck D Tablet is a prescription medicine used to treat acidity, heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), especially in patients who do not respond adequately to acid‑suppressing therapy alone.
Usage Instructions: Take one tablet whole with water, preferably 30–60 minutes before a meal, exactly as prescribed; do not crush or chew the tablet.
Benefits: By reducing excess stomach acid and improving stomach emptying, it helps relieve burning in the chest, sour belching, upper abdominal pain, nausea and discomfort related to reflux and peptic ulcers.
How it Works: This combination typically contains a proton pump inhibitor (such as rabeprazole) that blocks acid‑producing pumps in the stomach and a prokinetic agent (such as domperidone) that enhances gut motility and prevents acid and food from flowing back into the food pipe.
Side Effects: Common side effects can include headache, diarrhoea or constipation, abdominal pain, flatulence, dizziness and dry mouth; serious but less common problems such as severe diarrhoea, persistent stomach pain or allergic reactions require urgent medical care.
Safety Advice: Use with caution if you have liver or kidney disease, heart rhythm problems or a history of gastrointestinal bleeding; inform your doctor about all other medicines you take, and avoid smoking and excess alcohol, which can worsen acidity.
Storage: Store the tablets below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture, and keep the blister strip out of reach of children; do not use tablets after the expiry date.
