Rabepill D 10 Tablets

Rabepill D 10 Tablets

Prescription drug
Manufacturer / Marketer : PRESCRIPTO LIFE SCIENCE
About: Rabepill D Tablet is a prescription medicine used to manage acidity, heartburn, GERD and peptic ulcer disease when symptom control with a proton pump inhibitor alone is insufficient; it belongs to the class of PPI–prokinetic combinations similar to other rabeprazole–domperidone products.
Usage Instructions: Take the tablet whole with water 30–60 minutes before food, usually once or twice daily as directed by your doctor; do not chew or crush the tablet.
Benefits: It helps relieve burning pain, sour taste, regurgitation, bloating and nausea by both reducing acid secretion and improving movement of the upper gastrointestinal tract.
How it Works: The PPI component inhibits the gastric proton pump to markedly decrease acid output, while the prokinetic component increases gastric motility and tightens the lower oesophageal sphincter, reducing reflux.
Side Effects: Headache, diarrhoea or constipation, abdominal discomfort, dizziness and dry mouth are relatively common; serious but rare effects include severe watery diarrhoea, persistent abdominal pain, low magnesium, or allergic reactions with facial swelling or breathing difficulty.
Safety Advice: Avoid long‑term unsupervised use due to potential risks like vitamin and mineral deficiencies and bone effects; use carefully in patients with liver disease, heart rhythm issues or those on medicines that prolong the QT interval.
Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place, keep in the original blister to protect from moisture and light, and keep out of reach of children.
