AboutRabitied DSR Tablet is a combination of Rabeprazole 20mg (proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone 30mg (prokinetic agent) used to treat GERD, acid reflux, peptic ulcers, and dyspepsia with nausea and vomiting.Usage Instructions: Take once daily on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before a meal (preferably in the morning). Swallow capsule whole with water; do not crush, chew, or open. Take consistently at the same time daily. Complete the full prescribed course.Benefits: Highly effective in treating gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), erosive esophagitis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, H. pylori eradication (with antibiotics), and functional dyspepsia. Rapidly relieves heartburn, acid regurgitation, epigastric pain, bloating, nausea, and vomiting. How it Works: Rabeprazole irreversibly blocks the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme (proton pump) in gastric parietal cells, profoundly and durably inhibiting gastric acid secretion. Domperidone antagonizes dopamine D2 receptors in the GI tract and chemoreceptor trigger zone, enhancing gastric peristalsis, accelerating gastric emptying, increasing lower esophageal sphincter tone, and suppressing nausea/vomiting.Side Effects: Common: headache, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dry mouth, dizziness, flatulence, rash, fatigue. Serious: QT interval prolongation, ventricular arrhythmias, hyperprolactinemia (galactorrhea, amenorrhea, gynecomastia), vitamin B12/magnesium/calcium deficiency with prolonged use, hepatotoxicity, acute interstitial nephritis, severe cutaneous reactions (SJS/TEN).Safety Advice: Contraindicated in GI hemorrhage, obstruction, perforation, prolactinoma, or moderate/severe hepatic impairment. Use caution in cardiac disease, electrolyte disturbances, or renal impairment. Avoid in pregnancy and lactation. Monitor ECG in at-risk patients. Long-term PPI use associated with increased fracture risk, C. difficile infection, and nutrient malabsorption. Report palpitations, breast symptoms, or severe persistent diarrhea.Storage: Store below 25°C. Protect from light, heat, and moisture. Keep in original blister packaging. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if packaging is damaged or tablets are discolored.
