AboutRabivax S Injection is an inactivated rabies vaccine for pre-exposure and post-exposure prophylaxis against rabies in children and adults.Usage Instructions: Reconstitute with 1ml sterile water for injections. Administer by IM injection (deltoid in adults, anterolateral thigh in children). Follow prescribed vaccination schedule. Do not inject intravenously.Benefits: Prevents rabies infection, provides active immunity, effective pre and post-exposure, WHO prequalified, safe and immunogenic.How it Works: Contains inactivated purified rabies antigen that stimulates immune system to produce neutralizing antibodies against rabies virus without causing disease.Side Effects: Injection site pain, redness, swelling, headache, dizziness, muscle pain, rare: allergic reactions, anaphylaxis, neurological reactions.Safety Advice: Contraindicated in severe allergic reaction to previous dose. Use caution in acute febrile illness. Safe in pregnancy if indicated. Complete full vaccination schedule.Storage: Store refrigerated (2-8°C). Do not freeze. Protect from light. Use immediately after reconstitution. Check expiry before use.
