AboutSemalix 8MG/3ML Injection Pen contains Semaglutide, a once-weekly injectable GLP-1 receptor agonist used to improve blood sugar control in type 2 diabetes and support weight management.Usage Instructions: Inject once weekly subcutaneously (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm) at any time of day, with or without meals. Use with compatible pen device. Rotate injection sites. Start with 0.25mg weekly, titrate as prescribed.Benefits: Improves glycemic control in type 2 diabetes, promotes significant weight loss, reduces cardiovascular risk, lowers HbA1c, suppresses appetite, and improves metabolic parameters. How it Works: Semaglutide mimics endogenous GLP-1, stimulating glucose-dependent insulin secretion, inhibiting glucagon release, slowing gastric emptying, and reducing appetite through central GLP-1 receptor activation.Side Effects: Common: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, decreased appetite, injection site reactions. Serious: pancreatitis, gallbladder disease, acute kidney injury, hypersensitivity, diabetic retinopathy, thyroid C-cell tumors.Safety Advice: Not for type 1 diabetes or DKA. Contraindicated in personal/family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2. Monitor renal function and blood glucose. Report severe abdominal pain, vision changes, or allergic reactions. Use with caution in gastroparesis.Storage: Refrigerate at 2-8°C before first use. After first use, may store below 25°C or refrigerate for up to 6 weeks. Do not freeze. Protect from light.
