AboutTamsin D Tablet is a combination of Tamsulosin 0.4mg and Dutasteride 0.5mg used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men with enlarged prostate gland.Usage Instructions: Take one capsule daily at the same time, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not crush, chew, or open. Continue even if feeling well. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice. Take consistently at the same time daily.Benefits: Relieves symptoms of enlarged prostate (BPH), improves urine flow, reduces difficulty urinating, decreases frequent urination (especially at night), reduces risk of acute urinary retention, minimizes need for prostate surgery, shrinks prostate gland over time (dutasteride), provides rapid symptom relief (tamsulosin).How it Works: Tamsulosin is an alpha-1 blocker that relaxes smooth muscle in prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow. Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that blocks conversion of testosterone to DHT, shrinking prostate gland over 3-6 months. Combined action provides both rapid symptom relief and long-term prostate size reduction.Side Effects: Common: dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, reduced semen volume, breast tenderness/enlargement, runny/stuffy nose. Serious: severe hypotension, priapism (prolonged painful erection), severe allergic reactions, prostate cancer (monitoring required), depression.Safety Advice: May cause dizziness; use caution when driving or standing up quickly. Inform urologist before cataract surgery (risk of IFIS). Not for use in women or children. May affect PSA levels (prostate cancer screening). Use caution in liver disease. Inform doctor of breast changes, prolonged erection, or severe dizziness. Do not donate blood during and 6 months after treatment.Storage: Store below 25°C in a dry place.
