AboutTegoyes 20MG Capsule is a combination chemotherapy medicine containing Tegafur, Gimeracil, and Oteracil used to treat advanced gastric (stomach) cancer.Usage Instructions: Take exactly as prescribed by your oncologist, usually twice daily after meals for 14 days followed by 7 days rest. Swallow whole with water.Benefits: Treats advanced gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, and other solid tumors. Slows cancer progression, improves survival, and enhances quality of life when combined with cisplatin.How it Works: Tegafur converts to 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) in the body, inhibiting DNA synthesis in cancer cells. Gimeracil enhances 5-FU levels. Oteracil reduces gastrointestinal toxicity.Side Effects: Common: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite, fatigue, low blood counts, mouth sores. Serious: severe infection, bleeding, liver problems, severe skin reactions, lung problems.Safety Advice: Regular blood tests required. Avoid live vaccines. Use effective contraception.
